Was this directed by an albino monk by any chance? - The Da Vinci Code Reviews

What other excuse can there be for such a poorly directed, poorly shot, poorly acted, over-long disaster such as this? This movie is a slow-motion train wreck. I mean, did anyone bother to tell Ron Howard that an essential element for an action-thriller is EITHER (a) action, or (b) thrills? And preferably BOTH???? This has neither. Unbelievable.
